A 16-year-old Heber Springs girl was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle wreck, the Arkansas State Police said.

Natalie Tvedten was driving a Chevrolet pickup at high speed on Arkansas 210 about 9:50 p.m. when the truck ran off the road, according to a preliminary accident report. The pickup overturned several times and ejected Tvedten, state police said.

The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time, according to the report.

Tvetden was the 156th person to die in accidents on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
