A Gurdon man was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 67 south of Walnut Street in Arkadelphia.
According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Jason C. Frisby, 34, 30 Firehouse Loop, was driving a 1997 model Honda Civic north on the highway when he crossed the center line into the path of a southbound 1996 model Ford truck, driven by Kenneth F. McClure, 42, 20 Mt. Friendship, Curtis. The vehicles struck head-on, killing Frisby.
McClure was hurt and taken to Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. Frisby's body was released to Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
The wreck happened about 5:22 p.m. The weather was clear and the road was dry.
Sgt. Carl Palmer of the Arkadelphia Police Department investigated the wreck.
