A Dallas man died early Sunday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle, fell off and was struck by at least two vehicles. Police said Jeremy Archer, 29, lost control in the northbound lanes of Central Expressway near Caruth Haven Lane about 5:30 a.m. A car also traveling north struck the man and his motorcycle. Police said that motorist tried to flee, but the motorcycle was stuck under his vehicle. After about a half-mile, the motorcycle exploded, and the man's car caught fire. The man was not injured but was arrested on a charge of failing to stop and render aid. Police did not release his name Sunday. Police said another vehicle then struck Mr. Archer, who died at the scene. The driver of that vehicle stopped and was cooperating with investigators, police said. Northbound lanes of the highway were shut down from about 5:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday.
