The search continues for a suspected killer in Southeast Austin.

Police are looking for Larry Alexander in connection to a capital murder case. They believe he shot 19-year-old Priscilla Calderon Wednesday night.

On the eve of her funeral, the family left greiving her loss is pleading for answers.

This was the sixth homicide in the last three weeks -- and it hit close to home for folks who live near the murder scene -- who wonder where that suspect could be hiding.

Police comb for clues at the Longhorn Station apartments, after 19-year-old Calderon was gunned down inside her car.

Cops believe Calderon was killed in a drug deal gone awry. They think she tried to back out of the deal -- that's when, they say, Alexander shot her.

Police are still on the lookout for the 21-year-old while neighbors near the crime scene are on edge.

"(I'm) not really sure how to react about it," said neighbor Alejandro Rodriguez. "Particularly knowing he's still on the loose makes me a little more nervous. I'd been planning a late bike ride tonight and I'm somewhat reconsidering that."

"I come outside during the daytime now," said neighbor Tonya Rivers.

A rosary will be said for Priscilla Calderon Sunday at a South Austin funeral home. She will be laid to rest Monday at Asumpcion Cemetery.

Police are still calling on the public to give them a call if they know anything about this case.
