Mat did catch-and-release captures of wild animals, which he loved. In the process of catching a raccoon, he fell off a ladder and hit his head. Mat was a great guy, someone you could tell anything to and he wouldn't judge, he would just talk about it with you. Many people will miss him, especially his beloved wife and son.
