More details were revealed Monday about the fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the lives of an injured motorcycle rider and the four people who came to her aid Friday night.

Funeral homes, friends and family have confirmed the identities of the victims as De Anna Coatney, 42; Ronny Coatney, 49; Anita Pauline "Polly" Foote, 50; Casey Jones, 29; and Shannon Lacey, 36.

The preliminary police investigation revealed that De Anna Coat ney, a teacher at Lynn Wood Elementary School in Broken Arrow, lost control of her motorcycle while leaving the driveway of The Backyard Bar, 1229 S. Memorial Drive, just after 11 p.m. Friday.

The motorcycle slid and came to a stop in the northbound inside lane of Memorial Drive near the median, Wood said.

Police said Coatney suffered a head injury and that four people -- her husband, Ronny Coatney, Foote, Lacey and Jones -- went to help her.

A blue Dodge Ram that witnesses said was speeding then plowed into all five people. Witnesses also told police that the truck never slowed down after striking the victims, an arrest report says.

The truck then ran a red light at 11th Street and Memorial Drive and continued north.

All five people died as a result of their injuries.

Just before noon Saturday, Kimberly Elizabeth Graham called 911 from a public telephone outside Uniform Division East and told a dispatcher that she was "the one who killed the people on Memorial Drive last night," a police report states.

Capt. Steve Odom met Graham there, and she walked up to him and said, "I was the driver of the car that killed five people last night," and "I was drinking and driving and thought I hit a car, but I killed five people," the report states.

Graham, 37, was arrested on five complaints of second-degree manslaughter and five counts of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. She remained jailed Monday in lieu of $175,000 bail.

As police worked to finish their investigation, friends, family and co-workers of the five victims mourned their losses.

Polly Foote, the fifth victim whose identity was confirmed, was a senior editorial processing assistant in the Petroleum Abstracts Department at the University of Tulsa and a former Red Cross volunteer.

She began volunteering for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team in 2003. Her duties included responding to emergencies such as residential fires, tornadoes and floods, said Red Cross spokeswoman Nellie Kelly.

Kelly said Foote''s volunteer status recently became inactive but that she had said she wanted to resume volunteering with the Red Cross.

Humanitarianism is a key value of the Red Cross, Kelly said, adding that ''''clearly, she (Foote) was a humanitarian" because she tried to help someone and ended up "giving her life for it.''''

Belinda Hildreth, who said she has known Foote since 1973, worked with her at TU''s Petroleum Abstracts Department. Foote was born and raised in Tulsa, Hildreth said, and has two grown children.

''''The one thing that sticks out in my mind about Polly is that she put her family first,'''' Hildreth said. "It was almost sacrificial. She put them before herself -- before anyone."

Hildreth said Foote has two grandchildren and one on the way.

Joan Arnold, a close friend and co-worker of Foote''s, recently held a baby shower for Foote''s daughter, who is 8-1/2 months'' pregnant.

Arnold said she doesn''t know how Foote''s co-workers will get by without her, explaining that Foote had an extraordinary understanding of her highly technical work.

''''First and foremost about Polly, she was absolutely devoted to the accuracy of her work,'''' Arnold said, emphasizing that Foote was ''''liked, loved and admired.''''

Hildreth said she was not surprised that Foote would stop to help someone in need. ''''If a person needed help, that is what she did. It was just her selfless attitude of putting others first.''''

Foote''s funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore''s Eastlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

Services for De Anna and Ronny Coatney will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Guts Church.

Jones'' funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Creation Church in Broken Arrow.

Lacey''s funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore''s Eastlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

On Monday, counselors were available for the Broken Arrow Public Schools students and staff who were mourning the loss of De Anna Coatney, said spokesman Keith Isbell.

Coatney, who taught fourth grade at Lynn Wood, was very involved in professional development with teachers across the district, he said.

"Lynn Wood itself is reeling, but a lot of school sites within the district are reeling, too," Isbell said. "It''s very difficult. They (other teachers) thought a lot about her, because they nominated her for teacher of the year."
