A former MacArthur High School football player attending college in California was fatally stabbed during a fight with his brother over a computer, according to the Salinas Police Department.

Thaddaeus Williams, 18, was allegedly stabbed by his brother, Langston Williams III, 21, about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at their home in Salinas, a police report said. He died Thursday just after midnight.

Langston Williams III as charged with one count of homicide, said Salinas Cmdr. Robert Eggers.

Thaddaeus Williams was a two-year starter on MacArthur''s offensive line, helping lead the Brahmas to the Class 5A Division II state semifinals last year. He and his brother moved to Salinas to attend Hartnell College to play sports, his coaches said.

Thaddaeus Williams was a Division I prospect, said his coach at Hartnell, Matt Collins.

	leapfreak on Nov 24, 2007 at 11:54 AM If you're an only child raise your hand. Wow. My sister is five years older than me. We used to fight constantly, physical not just verbal. We both have scars and injuries caused by each other but I can't ever imagine either of us doing something like this to each other. I have a really bad temper and she is the one person in the world who knows how to push my buttons but I would never do anything that resulted in her death.
