A 19-year-old Floyd County man died yesterday from injuries in a one-car rollover wreck in Georgetown.
Kenneth Lee Alexander, of the 9200 block of Dawn Drive in Georgetown, was transported to University Hospital in Louisville, where he was pronounced dead at 5:12 a.m. after surgery, said Jack Arnold, Jefferson County, Ky. deputy coroner.
The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries.
Floyd County police reported that Alexander was traveling on Baylor-Wisman Road when he lost control of his car. It struck two trees and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Alexander graduated in May from Floyd Central High School. Principal John Marsh described him as "a good kid, and very well liked."
