Javier Solorzano, 19, passed away Wednesday January 23, 2008 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born on December 8, 1988, in Jacksonville, N.C.
He is survived by his Father Francisco Solorzano Jr., his mother Maria D. Solorzano, and two brothers Aaron and Roman Solorzano of Palmview.
Javier graduated from La Joya High School on May 2007. He went on to serve his country as a Marine in the Reserves; graduated from Echo Company Platoon 2107, in San Diego, California on September 14, 2007. Served in Unit 123 Marines Charlie Company Detachment. A Shining star now in heaven; you will brighten our lives left here on earth. My son and our brother we love you always.
Visitation will be today Friday January 25, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission, Texas. Funeral mass will be held Saturday January 26, 2008 at 9:30am at Our lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at Lord & I Cemetery in Palmview, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission, Texas.
