Grief counselors are at West Branch Area School District after a student there passed away following a New Year's Day car accident.

Sixteen-year-old Greg Sabol of Morrisdale died at a Pittsburgh hospital Tuesday due to injuries he suffered in an accident in the early morning hours of Monday in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County.

A passenger in the Sabol vehicle, 14-year-old Michaella Wolfe of Unionville, died at the scene of the accident. She was a student at Bald Eagle Area.

Two other passengers, one a West Branch student and the other a Bald Eagle student, were hurt in the accident.
