Timothy J. Langel, 20, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, November 18, 2005, at his home. He was born April 29, 1985 at Oskaloosa, the son of Philip and Cathie Rohde Langel. He graduated from the Oskaloosa Senior High School with the class of 2003, and was presently attending AIB School of Business in Des Moines. Tim had worked for the Kum & Go convenience store chain for the past two years, and presently worked at the Des Moines 30th and Hickman store.

His family includes his mother, Cathie Langel of Oskaloosa; his father: Philip Langel of Oelwein; a brother: Bradley Langel of Cedar Rapids; his paternal grandparents: Bill and Evelyn Langel of Oelwein; and many aunts and uncles.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Bernard and Millie Rohde.

Funeral services for Tim Langel will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Pastor Alvern Boetsma officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery at Oskaloosa. Visitation will begin at the funeral chapel on Monday after 11 a.m., and the family will be at the funeral chapel on Monday from 6:30 - 8 p.m. to greet friends and relatives. A memorial has been established to the family.
