A fight between two men in Casselberry early Saturday left one man dead from a shotgun blast, authorities said.

Casselberry police said 22-year-old Gary Steven Hopkins II died from a shotgun wound to his abdomen. Police arrested 18-year-old Robert Adriann-Fernando Pinos, who police say called 911 to report that Hopkins had been shot.

Witnesses told police that Hopkins and Pinos got into a fight in the Summit Village neighborhood, which prompted Pinos to get a shotgun from a car. Police said that during the 911 call Pinos said he shot someone after being attacked. Police booked Pinos into Seminole County Jail on a murder charge.

Hopkins died of his wounds at Florida Hospital North in Altamonte Springs. The shooting occurred about 3:40 a.m. Saturday.
