Two women are dead following a Saturday night accident on the city's north side. Marion county sheriff's deputy's were dispatched to the 5800 block of 91st Street on Saturday a little after 9:30 p.m. on the report of a serious accident.
According to investigators a 1998 Honda with two female occupants was traveling east bound in the 5800 block of 91st Street when the vehicle abruptly veered left off of the roadway and into the front yard of a residence.
The vehicle struck a fence and several trees before the car inverted and split into two sections. The victims remained in the passenger section of the vehicle.
Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the accident but do not know if alcohol was involved pending further investigation.
The victims are identified as 27-year-old Kelly B. Lifonti Camby and 24-year old Ashleigh Loy of Kokomo.
