Maryland State Police say a woman injured when two trees crushed a pickup truck during Saturday's storm has died at a Baltimore hospital.

Police say 20-year-old Alishia Vaughan of Quarryville, Pa., was a passenger in the truck when the truck was hit by large locust trees that fell along Route 136 near Broad Creek in Harford County.

Police say heavy rain and high winds caused the trees to fall about 4:40 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, Vaughan suffered multiple injuries and died Sunday morning at Shock Trauma. The driver of the pickup, 26-year-old Fletcher Stine of Holtwood, Pa., was not injured.
