Friends, family and classmates of the Mount St. Mary''s University senior who fell to his death said their final goodbyes Monday.
The funeral for Dustin Bauer of Lutherville was held at Immaculate Conception Church in Towson.
An aunt, Michelle Distler, said the 22-year-old Bauer died Wednesday night when he was taken off life support at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Bauer was injured early March 9 and underwent surgery the next day.
University spokeswoman Linda Sherman said Bauer was with three other students when he leaned over a railing, lost his balance and fell more than 10 feet onto a tile floor. She said alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
The school is located in Emmitsburg.
