From a blog: Aaron went out for a ride on his bicycle. He and three other friends went along. They stopped several times, the last stop was at a window of a fellow student who was under restriction for being in trouble at school. As the boys'' father heard the boys talking, he kicked in the door sending Aaron and the boys scurrying for their bikes. At this point the others noticed that Aaron was running "funny".(Could this have "scared him to death"? Was our angel blacking out from lack of oxygen, from fright?)

As the boys headed out, they made a corner, Aaron being the third rider in formation. It was dusk and the oncoming cars had their headlights on.

Then for reasons only God knows, Aaron left the formation that was hugging the curb on the right side of the road, and veered toward the oncoming van. The boys yelled and Aaron did not respond. The van and the jeep behind both had enough time to slow down considerably, but not stop entirely. They collided. It was as if Aaron did not even see it. The paint is hardly scratched on the van, and the bicycle looks like he hit the curb. Not indicative of the injuries he sustained.

3 adults and 3 teenagers were at the scene, looking on as Aaron lay, not breathing, in the street. We will never know if CPR would have made a difference. No one attempted anything.

By the time the EMT''s arrived, maybe 15 people watched on and still no CPR. I am unsure if everyone lacked the knowledge or the confidence to try something,....anything.
They shocked Aaron''s heart 6 times on the street and just could not get him stabilized, even at the hospital they knew he was in big trouble.(or already gone)

After the medi-flight, every tube the hospital had,and 18 hours later, his little heart just could not go on. They did everything they could. Maybe too much, too late. Aaron had gone a long time without oxygen.

He was told "I love you" everyday, and everytime we left each other. He has always been Gods-- and is now home. It doesn''t make it easier for any of us he left behind. We love you and will remember you forever Aaron. ** Please, educate yourselves, learn the basics, you could be the person that changes so many lives. **
