From an email: Yesterday, September 15th at approx. 11:30pm my sister Jackie passed away due to a lung infection at Evanston Hospital. She was only 25 years old and my only sister. I miss her dearly and I will always love and admire her in this life and the next. For those of you who had the opportunity to know her, you already know of her lifetime struggle with her weight. What you may not know is she had gastric bypass surgery about three years ago. Since then she lost over 200lbs and looked damned good. She spent the last two years of her life having a good time. Getting, for the first time in her entire life the chance to experience partys, clubs (very often) and even boyfriends(plural). Being overweight her whole life was not easy on her. She endured countless taunts and ridicule for the way she looked. And her personality was often overlooked by her peers. But even though she could have an attitude sometimes, those of us who knew her best knew she had a heart of solid gold. And if she loved you, she would bend over backwards for you. She even helped me out on numerous occassions. She will be missed by everyone who knew her especially her family, which she loved....

Jackie, we miss you baby. No one will ever forget how you made us smile with that crazy laugh, your unforgettable quirks, and loving persona. Everytime i think of you I may cry whether it be externally or internally, but at the same time I''m smiling, because I will see you again in the next life. I love you. God bless and rest in peace.
