A family is in mourning after their loved one was hit and killed by a moving train.

Twenty-six-year-old Michael Sword was crossing the train tracks behind his mother''s house Saturday night when he got too close the tracks.

Officers say the train''s momentum sucked him in and threw him from the tracks.

He was a good boy, a good person ... very much loved by nieces, nephews, his family, said mother Saundra Walker.

Sword was flown to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
