Land O'' Lakes, Florida - Family and friends say 51-year-old Diane Yeager-Lombard loved fixing up her dream home, and she lived for her 19-year-old daughter and her three horses.

But they knew Yeager-Lombard was having trouble with someone just before she was murdered.

"Not only is it shocking, but whoever did this, they did it with a vengeance and to just shoot someone and to leave them on a doorstep. That''s pretty horrifying. That''s pretty cold," said Linda Brown who lives across the street.

Neighbors on Bahia Loop say they heard a gunshot after 5 o''clock Saturday afternoon, and saw a blue truck speeding near the victim''s home. Later, neighbors saw Yeager-Lombard lying on her front porch, but say they thought she was sunbathing. Deputies discovered her body the next day.

"At this point we do believe that she was on her porch from probably Saturday evening, until she was found late Sunday morning," said Kevin Doll, Pasco County Sheriff''s Spokesman.

Just two days before she was murdered, Diane Yeager-Lombard asked a Pasco County Sheriff''s deputy for help with something. But because of the current murder investigation, a sheriff''s spokesman won''t release that report, or say much about it.

"The victim on Thursday May 1st, she approached one of our deputies who was in the neighborhood who was actually investigating some other incident, and she approached our deputy and wanted to make a harassment report," said Doll.

A family friend says Yeager-Lombard had been harassed by someone working on her yard, but sheriff''s deputies won''t confirm or deny it.

"We''re keeping that information close to the vest, it could be something that''s related to the homicide, we don''t know yet, but we are checking it out," said Doll.

Pasco deputies say they''re also following leads on a blue truck seen speeding away from the victim''s home.

Family members say Yeager-Lombard was a dancer, an artist, and a quiet woman who minded her own business. And they''re still stunned someone shot her dead, on her front porch.
