I am sad to report that my good friend and dance troupe partner, Sunny Perkins a.k.a. Mia More, is in a coma and fighting for her life at the San Jose Medical Center. She and her boyfriend, Chris Horne, were seriously injured in a car accident in the early morning of Monday, September 15. Chris broke his back in three places and thankfully has movement in his extremeties. He may be released in the next few days. Sunny remains in the Intensive Care Unit (where flowers and balloons are not allowed) and is only able to receive visits from her immediate family.
