From an email: Devin was driving drunk with a person in the car. Neither of them had seat belts on. They were driving in the country, very fast. For some reason, they went towards the left ditch, locking the brakes, they slid to the right, into the right ditch. There is about 3 foot drop then about another 3 foot incline again to the corn field. They hit that going very fast, flipping afterwards. They flipped 8-10 times without a seatbelt. The passenger, Jacob Head, went through the windshield, breaking his neck. Devin went through the passenger side window. Devin was airlifted to Carle. He was in a coma ever since. This happened Wednesday night.

Jacob had surgery to, hopefully, save his arms. Doctors said it went well, but Jacob says it hurts to move his arms, but that means he can.
