A 15-year-old boy was taken into custody this afternoon on a charge of criminal negligent homicide in connection with the traffic collision that killed 14-year-old Adriana Mendoza, El Paso police special traffic investigators said.
On Jan. 12, Mendoza was a passenger in the car driven by the boy when the car allegedly ran a stop light and crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Pellicano Drive and Joe Battle Boulevard.
