Authorities have identified a boy who was found dead on trolley tracks near a bowling alley in Drexel Hill on Saturday night.

The boy has been identified as 14-year-old Drexel Hill resident, Kyle Fish. Fish was found dead after he was hit by a SEPTA trolley near the intersection of Harper Avenue and Hillcrest Road around 11pm.

Upper Darby police superintendent Michael Chitwood said it's wasn't clear if the boy was already dead or if he was killed by the trolley.

"It looks as though he was laying on the tracks prior to the SEPTA trolley either hitting him or going over him."

Police said the SEPTA driver say the boy lying motionless on the tracks moments before running him over.

Investigators found two t-shirts alongside the boy when he was discovered.

"Having a 12 to 15 year old late at night lying on the train tracks, partly disrobed would be indicative of some type of question with respect to some type of substance abuse," said Chitwood.

Anyone with any information on why he might have been on the tracks is asked to call Upper Darby police at (610) 734-7693.
