Police say a teenage bicyclist was the victim of a fatal hit and run last night in Brooksville.
Authorities say 17-year-old Scott Avery was riding his bike on Powell Road when Leo Salvato hit him from behind in his 1997 Saturn.
The 36-year-old from Spring Hill reportedly took off.
According to the FHP, the driver was located and charges are pending.
We will have an update as soon as more information is available.
