A 22-year-old Tennessee man was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident early yesterday morning in Jackson Township.

Derek Martin of Chuckey, Tenn., was killed when his Chevrolet Blazer collided with a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Kelvin C. Walker of Jacksonville, Fla., at 12:22 a.m. at Rosebud and Deep Run roads.

Martin was pronounced dead at the scene by county coroner Dr. Jeffrey Yocum.

Martin was not wearing a seat belt, according to state police at Jonestown.

Walker and a passenger in his car, 39-year-old Martina A. Mackiewicz, also of Jacksonville, were taken to Hershey Medical Center.

Police said Martin's SUV was southbound on Deep Run Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the passenger side of Walker's vehicle, which was westbound on Rosebud Road.

Martin was the 11th person to die as a result of accidents on Lebanon County roads this year, according to Daily News records.
