There is a double fatality car accident on Red Rock Road (State Route 159), two miles north of Blue Diamond.
25-year-old Flora Angeles from Las Vegas was killed due to multiple blunt force injuries. Three-month-old Serenity Rogrigues was killed due to Cranial Cerebral blunt force head injuries.
Angeles lost control over her vehicle, over corrected and crossed two lanes of traffic. The car went through a fence and down a ravine. She was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital. The infant was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor.
