On Tuesday July 15, 2008, units with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were notified of a single vehicle crash in the 15100 block of West Little York. EMS personnel arrived on the scene and found a female partially ejected with no signs of life. A male passenger was located in the front right passenger seat secured with a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight to Hermann Hospital in serious condition. It was determined during the on scene investigation that the vehicle was traveling eastbound and struck the right curb causing the vehicle to rotate counter clockwise. The vehicle then traveled over the left raised concrete curb grassy median while rotating and the vehicle began to roll over right to left. The vehicle rolled through the westbound lanes of traffic and came to rest on the roof facing westbound. The female was identified by her US passport as Jessica Bache and the male was Keith Flowers. Bache was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was partially ejected out of the front passenger side window. A witness traveling westbound observed the vehicle driven by Bache go out of control and roll over into the westbound lanes. The witness stated that no other vehicles were traveling eastbound in the area of Bache's vehicle at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Section.
