-----------

Cody Lisby is an extraordinary young man from Beech Grove, Indiana, who has overcome and is again facing challenges that most of us will not have to face in our entire lifetime. Having recently celebrated his 15th birthday, Cody's interests are very similar to those of any 15-year-old young man . . . friends, music, movies, and video games (expert at Guitar Hero!). He also has an unusual love for tigers and just a few days ago took advantage of the opportunity to hold and feed a white tiger cub! With an awesome sense of humor and ability to make people laugh, Cody is easy to get to know and love.

About six years ago Cody was diagnosed with, and successfully beat, a form of childhood brain cancer called medulla blastoma. In June of this year, it was discovered that the cancer has returned. The past few months have been incredibly challenging for Cody, both physcially and emotionally, but he continues to shown strength and courage far beyond his years. He is a true inspiration to everyone that knows him and our hope is that he will in some way be an inspiration to those whom he has never met.
