Two of the three men accused of killing a young couple near Wallace in North Idaho pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning in a Shoshone County courtroom.

The third suspect, 20-year-old Jon Kienholz Jr., had his hearing continued and prosecutors say there's still the possibility he could enter into a plea agreement.

The courtroom was packed with the family and friends of 20-year-old Corey Reid, 17-year-old Hiram Wilson and Keinholz for the short 10-minute arraignment.

The three were arrested in August after huckleberry pickers discovered the bodies of Silver Valley residents Neil Howard and Cynthia Bewick off a remote road on Dobson Pass in August. The two were shot to death.

According to court documents Wilson, who is the son of the Pinehurst police chief, helped dispose of their bodies, dragging them over the edge of the road. Documents also confirm that Reid confessed to witnessing the shootings.

Keinholz also confessed to planning the murders and shooting both Howard and Bewick.

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office believes the three killed the couple to steal their car in order to go on a road trip.

A fourth suspect in the case has been charged for concealing information about the crime and a fifth suspect was arrested and charged with two felonies for being an accessory to murder.

Keinholz faces the most serious charges in two counts of first degree murder but the prosecutor says there is the possibility of a plea agreement for Keinholz. They may offer him an agreement because Keinholz wants to make sure the others are held responsible for their roles in Howard's and Bewick's murders.

Authorities say the charges Keinholz won't change if they reach an agreement with him but his punishment after he is sentenced could be reduced.
