A 26-year-old Little Rock man is dead after a woman hit him head on as she drove the wrong way down Interstate 630.

Charles Edward Jackson Jr. was on his way to west Little Rock to hang out with friends when he was killed on Interstate 630 Saturday night.

According to an Arkansas State Police accident report, Jackson was traveling down Interstate 630 around 11 o'clock Saturday night when Forty-two-year-old Connie Lynn Stuckey of Vilonia hit Jackson head on.

Stuckey, who drove this car, was driving the wrong way down Interstate 630 when she hit Jackson.

One day after the crash, Jackson's Landlord, Jean-Paul Francoeur, remembered the man he considered a friend.

(Jean-Paul Franoeur)"He was very friendly, he was always nice to our kids, a good friend to his friends, really involved with his church, just finished college and was getting ready to start traveling all over the world."

Francoeur said Jackson had recently graduated from Philander Smith College with a business degree and was on his way to celebrate the school's homecoming with friends, when his life was cut short.

Now he, along with Jackson's loved ones, are left to grieve.

(Francoeur)"I've been anxious all day. I just can't believe he's just gone like that, you know, it's just really tragic."

Arkansas State Police Troopers were unable to comment on the ongoing investigation.
Connie Lynn Stuckey was taken to a local hospital, but her condition is still unknown.
