Thomas G. Schmidt Jr. 22, of Palmerton, died Friday, September 12, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Thomas G. Sr. and Nadine A. (Suchon) Schmidt. Thomas was a carpenter for the past four years working for his familys constructing Company, The George T. Schmidt Inc. of Palmerton. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmerton He was a member of the Palmerton Hungarian Club and its bowling league. A member of Palmerton Dart League Joey Bs Team; He was a member of the Landmark Consulting Softball Team affiliated with the Bethlehem Business Softball League. He was a 2004 Palmerton High School graduate. He enjoyed football and was a defensive end during his high school years. As a youth he always enjoyed playing baseball football, and wrestling. He was a true sports fan. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting fishing and playing golf. Survivors: A sister, Jessyca M. wife of Christopher Fredericks of Palmerton; three brothers, Jereme J. and wife Lori Barkanic, Joshua M. Barkanic, and Kobi Klingensmith, and Stephen A. Schmidt, all of Palmerton; paternal grandfather, George T. Schmidt, of Palmerton; maternal grandmother, LaRae A., wife of Richard Fink of Kunkletown; 11 nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles and cousins. Services: The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, at the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5th and LaFayette Ave., Palmerton, with additional visitation 9-11 a.m. prior to the services. The Rev.
