A Colton freeway wreck killed a 34-year-old Bloomington motorist whose Jeep was found at the bottom of an embankment, San Bernardino County coroner's officials say.
Faisal Kanji died at 8:25 a.m. Sunday at a local hospital, about five hours after emergency crews reached the accident scene along Interstate 215, between Iowa Street and Barton Road.
Kanji's 2000 yellow Jeep Wagoneer apparently was traveling south before it left the roadway, coroner's officials said in a written statement. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
