A Fairbanks man died in a crash on the Parks Highway and two others were hurt.
Alaska State Troopers say 23-year-old Jason Hackenmiller died at the scene of the crash Friday evening, about 150 miles south of Fairbanks near Cantwell.
The injured were identified as 22-year-old Sharon Gutierrez of Fairbanks and 17-year-old Patricia Gutierrez of Palmer. Both were taken to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
According to Sgt. Chad Goeden and a hospital nursing supervisor, Sharon Gutierrez was listed in stable condition and Patricia Gutierrez was treated and released.
Goeden says Hackenmiller was the only person in a Volkswagen Jetta.
Patricia Gutierrez was driving a Ford Focus and Sharon Gutierrez was a passenger.
