Joseph P. Rogan, 20, of Bear Creek Township, died Saturday morning from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Bear Creek Township, he was a son of Thomas and Denise Garofalo Rogan. Joseph was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 2007, and was a sophomore at King's College and a member of the Theatrical Stage Crew. He planned to major in Business and Marketing.
Joseph was a wonderful and beautiful person. He greatly enjoyed weight training, quading, fishing and camping. He played many years with the Bear Creek Bobcats Soccer Team and Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack Ice Hockey Team. He was a loyal friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen Rogan, Carmine and Dolores Garofalo.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are a sister, his Caitlin; and a brother, Thomas; grandfather, Joseph P. Rogan.
Joseph will be dearly missed by his family and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His sense of humor and smile would fill your heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin. Viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne Foundation, 615 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, Pa 18705. Arrangements by the Corcoran Funeral Home, Plains. Online condolences may be made at www.corcoranfuneralhome.com
