Laura M. Rothe, 21, of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008, at her residence.
She was born September 10, 1987, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Mark S. Rothe and Dianna Lynn (Liebe) Rothe who survive.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Bishop Thomas Kirkham officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Circleville. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was a graduate of Zane Trace High School and Pickaway-Ross JVC and was currently employed by Dakota's and Bangkok Palace restaurants. Laura was a big OSU Football fan and liked gymnastics and listening to music. She loved cooking and was hoping to enroll in a culinary school in Indiana.
Laura was preceded in death by her uncles, Bruce and Scott Rothe and Michael Liebe. A sweet, giving person, Laura will be missed by her mother, Dianna Rothe; father, Mark S. Rothe; brother, Mark S. (Jamie) Rothe II; maternal grandparents, Richard (Deborah) Liebe and Gladys Liebe; paternal grandparents, Larry and Sonna Rothe; and great-grandmother, Evelyn Dean, all of Chillicothe; uncle, Jeffrey (Tammy) Rothe, of Logan; and aunt, Debra (Mark) Champion, of England.
