Zachary D. Sweitzer, 20, died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at York Hospital. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008, at Grace Fellowship Church, 1405 Seven Valleys Road, York, with Pastor Thomas E. Beck and Pastor Kerry W. Gingerich officiating. There will be a viewing from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. He was born October 19, 1988, in York, the son of Mark A. and Melissa M. (Slenker) Sweitzer. Zac was a 2007 graduate of Dallastown High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. Zac was a member of St. Peter's Church, Seven Valleys, and a proud, dedicated member of Loganville Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and his passion was farming. Zac enjoyed working for Cedar Hill Farms in Wellsville, and especially enjoyed riding John Deere tractors. In addition to his parents, Zac is survived by two sisters, Lauren E. and Emma J. Sweitzer, both at home; paternal grandparents, Raymond P. and Darlene G. Sweitzer; maternal grandmother, Delores M. Slenker; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mervin W. 'Oz' Slenker.
