A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a young Eugene woman Sunday morning, according to Eugene Police.

Police investigators say Sonja Marie Walker, 23, was driving north on Oregon 99 around 6:30 a.m. when her green Toyota 4-Runner struck a fire hydrant and two trees before rolling and
ejecting Walker through the sunroof.

Police found no evidence that Walker tried to brake. She did not appear to be wearing a seat belt.
