Police have identified a Washington Township teen killed when the car she was driving veered off the road and into a group of trees early Saturday.
Saige A. Vazquez, 17, of Washington Township, was driving her 2005 Nissan Altima around a sharp curve on Breakneck Road around 4 a.m. when she lost control of the car, traveling off the road and into nearby trees, authorities said.
Vazquez was killed instantly.
Six passengers, also from Washington Township, were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
One passenger, 18-year-old Amanda Vacca, was in critical condition on Sunday, police said.
The others were treated for less serious injuries.
Authorities said traces of alcohol were found at the scene and that they are investigating.
