Ryan Derrel Ware passed away on November 19 at the young age of 30, after a courageous battle against cancer for over 3 and a half years. Born in Upland, CA, he lived life to the fullest. From the first breath he took till his last days of outliving his prognosis. To many he was known as a fighter, but to those who knew him well, they knew of the warmth and kindness of his heart. He grew up fearless, enjoying activities such as dirt bike riding, surfing, soccer, swimming, skating and waterskiing. He graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 1995, where he noticed his love and admiration for artwork. After moving from place to place, including living in the "infamous white van" down by the beach, he found an interest in joining the United States Marines. "Semper Fi," is a tradition that will outlive any one life. After serving his country, Ryan found a passion which enabled him to utilize his talent with art in cabinetry. After two years in his career, he was recalled back into the Marines to train soldiers for Desert Strom. This is when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and his strength and courage would be tested. Never once complaining of pain, Ryan will be remembered for his valor, love for family and friends, and fearlessness. He is survived by his parents, John and Debbie Ware; brother, Dustin; sister-in-law, Emily; cousins SEan, Brandon, Ron, Chrissy; Uncle Randy, Aunt Solveigh, and Uncle Ron; and many other friends and family. While only blesseing us with his presence for a short while, his commitment to the meaning of "Carpe Diem" in its purest form will be caried on for years to come.
