Chelsea Brooke Hunnicutt,17, of Williamsburg, left this life Monday, April 20, 2009. She was a Senior at Lafayette High School where she was a lay-out editor for the school newspaper. She enjoyed English, journalism, and her photography classes above all others. Chelsea was a free Spirit who never feared speaking up or speaking out for what she believed. She was a gifted poet and she hoped to one day combine her loves for poetry and photography to help provide therapy to others in need. Chelsea enjoyed spending time on the river, at the beach with family, hanging out with her friends, and exploring new places.
She is survived by her parents Tracey Hunnicutt and Thomas Motton, her sister Amber Hunnicutt, grandparents Roger and Barbara Motton of Surry, Virginia and Irma and Ron Hunnicutt also of Surry. Her aunts Francine Johnson(J.J.), Jeanette Taylor, Renee Savedge(Randolph), and uncles Bobby Motton, and Marvin Pretlow, a special friend of the family Sharon Dixon and her beloved dog, Logan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Williamsburg Community Chapel on April 24, 2009 at 4:00P.M. To remember and celebrate Chelsea's life and her love of music and photography, of the written word, of animals, and of laughter and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local SPCA, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188, or to another charity of choice. Bucktrout of Williamsburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Nelson W. Hughes, 50, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at his residence in Rumford. He was born in New Milford, CT on April 5, 1964, the son of Nelson and Leanna (McBreairty) Hughes and was raised and attended schools in Allagash, Maine.
Millicent MacFarland (58) died after a battle with cancer
The Clerk of the Maine House Hon. Millicent M. MacFarland of Augusta passed away on Saturday surrounded by friends and family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was 58.
