Kenyon Dane Magner, 17, of Henderson, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. He was born Dec. 21, 1990, in Westminster, Calif., and had resided in Nevada for the last 13 years. Kenyon was a high school student and also worked as a lifeguard at Tahiti Village. He was in his happy place playing or watching football. Kenyon also loved snowboarding, playing basketball with his friends and playing computer and video games. His all-time favorite movie was "Blackhawk Down." He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, W. Bruce Magner and Donald Svendsen. Kenyon is survived by his parents, James Magner and April Denny Magner, and Robin Owens-Magner; his siblings, Justin and Madison Magner and Ariel Amavisca; his grandparents, Sara Jane Magner-Svendsen, Cathleen Owens, Robert Owens Sr., Margie and William Quiett, and Johnny Denny Sr.; aunts and uncles, Sharon and James Beck, Johnny Denny Jr., Charles Denny, Dustin and Amie Eldred, Susie Fejes, Cathy Leahy, Rita June Goss and Robert Owens Jr.; cousins, Kristin, Sean and Evan Kahra, Steven Koenig, Jessica Denny, Charles Denny Jr., Jacob Aguerro, Vaughn Eldred, John Fejes, Michelle Fejes and Jason Brock; and his girlfriend, Chelsey Walker. The visitation will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, with a service at 6 p.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Palm Valley View Cemetery.
