Friends and co-workers of a 21-year old volunteer firefighter killed in a crash remembered him Friday.
Steven Kincaid was a member of the Leander Fire Department, joining in 2005 as a volunteer.
Kincade died early Friday morning, when the truck he was riding in clipped a tree and rolled over.
It happened on Highway 183, just before the Crystal Falls Parkway intersection.
Investigators say Riley Shipman, who attended Leander High School with Kincade, was driving the truck.
After the crash, authorities say they found Shipman at his parents' home in Cedar Park. The told KVUE News Shipman simply walked away from the scene.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Kincade graduated from Leander High School in 2003.

He was a member of the varsity football team.
Fire Chief Jerry Williams said the young man wanted to become a full time firefighter.
"His spirit will be here from now on, and it's not something we'll forget at all. And we do not want to forget him, and we will have things ... his picture will be on the wall of all the fire stations and things like that," Williams said.
The investigation continues.
