Cameron Parish investigators say it's possible a Sulphur man fell asleep at the wheel before his car crashed, killing him at the scene.

Sheriff's deputies in Cameron Parish say 20-year-old Jody Seaux was heading south on Highway 27 in Hackberry Monday morning, when he drifted off the road, hit a utility pole and rolled over.

Deputies say he was wearing a seatbelt, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators tell 7 News there was no sign of alcohol or drug impairment, but standard toxicology tests are pending.
