Two people have been killed and five injured in a three-vehicle wreck at the foot of the Cumberland Plateau near Scottsboro.

Alabama State Troopers identified those killed in the Jackson County accident late Friday night as 15-year-old Victoria McLemore of Stevenson and 50-year-old John Berry of Woodville.

Troopers said McLemore was a passenger driven by 16-year-old Lauren Crawford of Bridgeport, who was injured. Troopers said her vehicle and the vehicle driven by Berry collided head-on on Alabama Highway 79 about 11:10 p.m.

A vehicle driven by 19-year-old Bradford Johnson of Scottsboro, who had been following Crawford's vehicle down the mountain, collided with her car. He was hurt in the wreck. Also injured were his passengers from Scottsboro, 19-year-old Kyle Pew and two 18-year-olds, Evan Ferguson and Cory Duddley.
