Two Miami women were killed and a third was injured in a crash on Florida's Turnpike.
Florida Highway Patrol says the women were heading south early Sunday morning when their vehicle hit a pole. Authorities say the driver, 21-year-old Lorena Michelle Green, and a passenger, 19-year-old Frances De La Caridad Santos, died in the crash.
Another passenger, 21-year-old Jennifer Gulin, was taken by helicopter to a Miami trauma center. She was expected to survive.
The crash remained under investigation.
