Krystal Marie Chuck, 22, fiancée of Brad J. Madsen of Royersford, died on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 5, 2009, in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania following a lengthy illness.
Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Tracy (Nattle), wife of Michael Collins, of Royersford, and Stanley R. Chuck of Phoenixville.
Krystal graduated among the top 10 percent of her class from Spring-Ford High School in 2005 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Cabrini College and Montgomery County Community College.
She worked at the Phoenixville Hospital since she was 16, most recently working in insurance verification at the hospital.
Krystal was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Royersford and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
She loved cooking, dancing, crossword puzzles and being with her friends.
In addition to her parents and fiancéee, she is survived by two sisters, Chelsea L. Chuck of Royersford, Mallory G. Chuck of Royersford; stepsister, Shannon Collins of Dublin; stepbrothers, Michael and Brendan Collins of Royersford; maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Nattle, wife of the late Joseph Nattle Sr., of Phoenixville; paternal grandmother, Theresa Chuck, wife of the late John Chuck, of Phoenixville; great grandmother, Sophie Nattle of Phoenixville; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her beloved dog, Brutus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy M. Judge officiating.
Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.
Relatives and friends may call at the Devlin-Romsos-Kepp Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Headstrong Foundation, 466 Hutchinson Terrace, Holmes, PA 19043.
