Amber Rose Hartsell of Arnold died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009. She was 20.

Born July 12, 1989, in Redding, Amber was raised in the Arnold community with her two brothers, family and friends, and spent her most recent years on the wait staff at Sarafina's, as a lifeguard and as an elementary school volunteer. One of her many gifts was working with children, and she endeavored to become a teacher.
Amber was loved immensely and will be missed beyond measure. Her memories will be cherished in the hearts of her many family and friends, including mother and stepfather Dia and Jim Eaves; grandmother Pauline Corbett; brothers Brandon (Alisa) Corbett and Tyler Hartsell; and stepbrother and stepsister Jesse and Elizabeth Eaves; and father Ivan Hartsell.

Amber's family invites you to join them and share memories of her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Chapel in the Pines in Arnold. In lieu of flowers, in the spirit of her love for animals, donations can be made in her name to the Calaveras Humane Society, P.O. Box 177, Vallecito, CA 95251. A memorial fund has been set up at El Dorado Savings Bank.
