A Scott Woman was killed Thursday night while riding her motorcycle in Lafayette.
Police say 20 year old Malorie Chiasson died when the driver of a Ford Escort pulled out of a gas station and directly into Chiassons path as she was traveling on West Congress.
Chiasson never had a chance. The driver of the car, 28 year old Courtney Jefferson of Lafayette has been cited for failure to yield.
But additional charges could be forth coming because the accident is still under investigation.
