Tyrel Jay Fraser (Buffalo Wallow- his Cheyenne name given to him by his grandfather Lee Lonebear), age 20, of Lame Deer, MT passed away tragically with one of his best buddies Dean Harris in a car accident on his birthday Friday, December 18, 2009.

Tyrel was born in Crow Agency on December 18, 1989. He was raised a majority of his life by his grandparents Clinton and Jackie Small on Pawnee Creek, where he will be laid to rest for all eternity. Tyrel was proud of his Northern Cheyenne heritage and Sioux ancestry.

Tyrel attended school at St. Labre and graduated from Lame Deer High School in 2008. He enjoyed playing basketball throughout his high school career. He was an avid horseman obtaining his skills from his mother and grandfather. He loved ranching and spending time with his family & friends and had a passion for music. He enjoyed hunting and fishing on the Tongue River where he grew up. Another of his favorite pastimes was attending basketball games with his dad and helping his little nephews shoot baskets at half-time.

He was always in good spirits and was a loving, respectful and kind-hearted man. The love of his life was his little daughter, Lalisieonna. He was always willing to give a hug and kiss to everyone, especially his grandma Jackie and Grandpa Clinton. Tyrel was a little over protective of his sisters and he was definitely his mothers boss. Tyrel will be in our hearts forever and his memories will live on.
