One person was killed and two injured in a three-vehicle midday wreck on Alabama 160 in Blount County.
Rachel Lake, 19, of Warrior was killed in the wreck about 12:25 p.m. two miles west of Cleveland. A 4-year-old traveling with her in a 1992 Honda Accord was injured and transported to Children's Hospital.
Kerry Singleton, 51, of Jasper also was injured and transported to UAB Hospital. He was driving a 2003 Chrysler Concorde. The driver of the third car was not injured.
